Privacy policy

Summary

We built the app to work with as little personal data as possible. Your study progress is stored on your device. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

What we collect

On your device: your selected state, exam date, answers, scores, settings and flashcard schedule. This stays on your device unless you create an account or export it.

If you give us your email (free quiz results, purchase receipt, restoring access, reminders): your email address, the consent you gave, and the time you gave it.

If you buy: payment is handled by Stripe (web) or Apple/Google (mobile stores). We receive confirmation of the purchase, plan and status; we never see or store your full card number.

If you opt in to analytics and error reports: anonymous usage events (for example "mock exam completed") and crash reports, sent to our analytics and error-monitoring providers. This is off until you choose "Allow".

How we use it

To run the app, deliver purchases, send the emails you asked for, keep the service secure, fix bugs and understand which features help people pass. We do not use your answers to train advertising profiles.

Your choices and rights

Export or delete your data any time in Settings → Your data. Deleting removes the data stored on your device and, if you have an account, requests deletion of server-side data (within 30 days).

Email marketing: every email has an unsubscribe link. Analytics: change your choice in Settings.

California and other U.S. state residents: you may request access, correction, deletion and a copy of your personal information, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing". We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Children

The service is intended for adults preparing for a professional license. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Retention and security

Account and purchase records are kept while your account is active and as needed for tax and legal obligations. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure.

Service providers

Hosting (Cloudflare), database and authentication (Supabase), payments (Stripe, Apple, Google, RevenueCat for mobile subscriptions), optional analytics (PostHog), optional error reporting (Sentry), email delivery [email provider]. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
